Etherly Assistant

The Etherly Assistant is the built-in AI assistant in Etherly Sync. You’ll find it as a button in the bottom-right corner of the screen, available on every page.

What it can do

  • Answer questions about how the app works
  • Help with initial setup (Hosthub, Elorus, organisations, VAT scales)
  • Automatically navigate to settings pages when needed
  • Save every conversation so you can resume it later

Opening and closing

Click the Etherly Assistant button in the bottom right (or press Escape to close).

Conversation history

Every conversation is saved automatically. To view and resume past conversations:

Open the Assistant

Click the button in the bottom right to open the panel.

Click the clock icon

In the top-right corner of the panel there is a clock icon. Click it to see your history.

Select a conversation

Conversations are grouped by date (Today, Yesterday, This week, Earlier). Click any one to resume it.
When you resume a past conversation, the input field shows the conversation title so you always know which thread you’re typing into.

Starting a new conversation

  • From the history view: New Chat button at the top of the list.
  • From the chat view: the RotateCcw (refresh) button in the header.

Usage limits

The Assistant operates within hourly and daily usage limits for fair use. If you approach the limit, you’ll be notified inside the conversation.

Security and privacy

Each user sees only their own conversations — even when multiple users share the same account.
